The Dining Traveler

Jessica van Dop DeJesus is the founder and editor of the popular travel and food website, The Dining Traveler. She was raised in a small town called Guayama, Puerto Rico, spending her elementary and middle school years on the island. While a college student at the State University of New York-Albany, she also studied Spanish Literature at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón . With many friends and family still in Puerto Rico, she has traveled often and extensively across the island.

Jessica has traveled all over the world, having visited more than fifty countries and lived in six. After many years of traveling, she still considers Puerto Rico her favorite place on earth. It was imperative for her to publish her first travel book about a place that is so close to her heart.
